Film and Photography Off The Beaten Path

4xFilm was a passion project created by CMP Video. When the pandemic took hold, we needed to get out. First we went tent camping in a Camry, but after going to a few established campsites we saw the incredible overlanding rigs our neighbors had, and felt a need to get one.

Now we weren’t able to afford a new truck, but there are dozens of rental companies up and down California that needed content. So we started swapping free trips for great content. After building up a following on instagram with these we were even getting paid to go camping!

We created nearly 100 social videos, a dozen landing page videos, and nearly 1000 photos on our travels around California and Mexico between 2020 and 2022.
